One thing a painter loves is a good consistant source of inspiration. It's something I'm in constant persuit of. For me it's also big challenge in finding models from which to practise my portrait painting. I am usually a shy person around people, but when it comes to art I seem to find a bit more courage in approaching strangers, and Shavanda made a very good model. Her and I both like the way the portrait turned out and I especially like how much I had learned in the process.
