I am so glad to have found my way to your gallery. Your work is simply incredible. Each of your paintings reflects precision, patience, beauty and appreciation for life. Which in fact only reflects the artist holding the brush. Your palettes are a breath of fresh air and your pieces are a joy to view. Thank you and I shall be back often.

Well their is No Question that you are very talented Vanessa. I LOVE IT ALL. I especially love your self portrait. You are very beautiful. I also love your portrait of Gordon Lightfoot it's very nicely done.

I don't see you having any problem making it as an artist no matter where you go. YOUR JUST THAT GOOD. So I hope to see you this summer and maybe you can show me how it's done lol. Oh and tell the "old fart" he can come down and do a little fishin.

Hey Vanessa. I wanted to say thanks for your kind words in your article about your experience at our Grand Opening. I'm so glad and relieved that people feel that way about the space and the organization.

We're trying as hard as we can to make it a welcoming, open and accessible venue for everyone in Brantford to celebrate creative expression and it's great to hear that we're on our way in that direction. It's really neat to see so many artists, arts organizations, citizens, art fans, and more coming together to make something happen, something that we've needed in Brantford for so long, and something that I've known we've been capable of for so long.

We just needed a physical space to make it happen. There is a magic in this city and it comes out from time to time and it's really great when it does. Thank you for the kind words and the promo and always remember this is everyones facility to use, or at least that's how we're trying to run it. Take care and I'll talk to you soon.

I enjoyed reading about you and seeing the painting of Maya Angelou. You have captured her spirit! Yes, it is a photograph I took of her many years ago. It would be nice if you sent Dr. Angelou a print. Joy! And good luck with your art.

Re: Gordon Lightfoot Sings The Edmund Fitzgerald
omigoodness Vanessa - I was thinking about you and your portrait just last night and was going to e-mail you today to see how you were! This painting is remarkable - absolutely stunning. !! The skies are so ominous looking, as they must have been that terrible day.

Will you be displaying it in a gallery and selling it? EBay? If it's alright with you I will post a link to your site at www.corfid.com so the Lightfoot community there can see this painting. The 33rd anniversary of the tragic sinking of the Fitz was Nov.10. Gordon was 70 on the 17th.

I also do stained glass so I fully appreciate the work involved in completing a piece.
